Killy (Takahiro Sakurai) is a lone wanderer crossing a city that repeats itself in every direction, searching for the Net Terminal Genes that could restore order. Hiroyuki Seshita sends him into an enclave of Electro-Fishers, where a girl named Zuru (Sora Amamiya) has gone out for food and drawn a Safeguard pack down on her people. Her companions are dead, the routes out are blocked, and the village behind her is already close to starving.
