Blaze

“Based on a true Texas love story”

Texas, in the years when outlaw country was taking shape, a songwriter named Blaze Foley (Ben Dickey) falls in love with Sybil Rosen (Alia Shawkat). Ethan Hawke cuts between their romance, Blaze's last night alive, and the time after, when friends and enemies are left with his songs. It is a film about a man who was loved by a few people and almost no one else, and how far a song can carry him.
