Blind Beast

Michio (Eiji Funakoshi) is a blind sculptor who knows the world only through his hands, and he has decided that Aki (Mako Midori), an artists' model, will become the subject of his next work. He takes her and locks her inside his warehouse studio, a dark room filled with oversized sculptures of the female body. Yasuzō Masumura keeps the camera close as Michio learns her by touch, and Aki has to find some way to live inside his obsession.
