Blind Detective

“Every vision of the past is a vision of the blind.”

In Hong Kong, Johnston (Andy Lau) is a detective who lost his eyesight and was pushed into early retirement, so he now lives off the reward money for solving cold cases. Inspector Ho (Sammi Cheng Sau-man), a rookie, comes to him with an old case tied to her own past, and the two start working it together. Johnnie To sets them chasing a trail that cost Ho a friend long ago, and neither can afford to lose it.
