Blind Husbands

Lt. Erich von Steuben (Erich von Stroheim), an Austrian officer with a rogue's reputation, sets his sights on Margaret Armstrong (Francelia Billington), the wife of the surgeon Dr. Armstrong (Sam De Grasse). Von Stroheim, directing his first feature, makes the officer's pursuit patient and well-mannered. Her husband has begun to notice, and the two men are headed for a contest of nerve and ability.
