Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman

Tokyo, a few days after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, and the city is still rattled. Pierre Földes weaves six Haruki Murakami stories together around Komura, a bank employee with no ambition, who comes home to find a giant talking frog waiting for him. The frog needs his help to stop a worm under the city from tearing it apart, and Komura, who has never been asked for anything, has no idea how to answer.
