Blindness

“Your vision of the world will change forever.”

The Doctor's Wife (Julianne Moore) is the one person in an unnamed city who never goes blind, and she hides it to stay beside her husband (Mark Ruffalo) when the government locks the first victims in a quarantine ward. Fernando Meirelles keeps the camera close and the frame washed in white as the ward fills with people and waste. Inside, the Doctor and his wife hold on to each other while everything around them gives way.
