“Ghoul or Girl?”

The spirit of a vengeful female vampire wakes in a grave on the Karnstein estate in Italy, and it will not stay buried. Carmilla (Annette Stroyberg), a young noblewoman engaged to her cousin Leopoldo De Karnstein (Mel Ferrer), is the one it takes hold of, and Roger Vadim moves it through her in the colors of the Sheridan Le Fanu novella. Once the spirit is in her, Carmilla goes after the other women in the village.
