Blood Beach

“Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water - you can't get to it.”

People are vanishing from a stretch of Santa Monica beach, pulled down into the sand without a trace, and the few who turn up are mutilated. Harry Caulder (David Huffman) comes back when Catherine Hutton's (Marianna Hill) mother is among the dead, and the old friends search the abandoned buildings where they played as kids. Jeffrey Bloom directs this US and Hong Kong co-production as a low-budget creature picture.
