Blood Feast

(1963)Directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis67 minHorror
“You'll Recoil and Shudder as You Witness the Slaughter and Mutilation of Nubile Young Girls - in a Weird and Horrendous Ancient Rite!”

Fuad Ramses (Mal Arnold) runs a successful catering shop in the suburbs of Miami, and what he wants is to bring the goddess Ishtar back to life. He needs the body parts of young women for it, and a job feeding Suzette Fremont's (Connie Mason) debutante party. Herschell Gordon Lewis made this in 1963 as a splatter picture, and Detective Pete Thornton (William Kerwin) is left to trace a belief that sees murder as an act of worship.
