Margaret Fuchs (Valerie Leon) is the daughter of Professor Julian Fuchs (Andrew Keir), an Egyptologist who has carried the mummified body of the Egyptian Queen of Darkness back to England. Seth Holt directed this Hammer film, his last, finished by Michael Carreras after his death during production. Margaret is drawn into a run of terrifying incidents while a prophecy moves to take her body and soul, and Eugene Corbeck (James Villiers) is the one steering it.
