The Sherwood boarding school for girls looks respectable from its front steps, with its classrooms, its dormitory and its chemistry teacher, Miss Branding (Louise Lewis). Nancy Perkins (Sandra Harrison) arrives as the newest pupil, just as Branding takes up a medallion from the Carpathian Mountains and decides to try its power on her. Herbert L. Strock keeps the story inside the school, where a girl's trust in her teachers is the thing being used against her.
