Blood on the Moon

“A woman's bullet kills as quick as a man's!”

Jim Garry (Robert Mitchum) is a broke cowhand who rides in on the word of an old friend, Tate Riling (Robert Preston), to help settle a cattle dispute. The job isn't what Tate described, and Garry soon learns his friend is working to cheat the rancher John Lufton out of a fortune. Robert Wise puts Garry between that loyalty and Lufton's daughter Amy (Barbara Bel Geddes), with a stranger's land and a friend's trust both on the line.
