Bloody Mama
“You gotta' believe... You gotta' have faith... But first, you gotta' get rid of the witnesses!”
In the 1930s, Kate "Ma" Barker (Shelley Winters) wants her four grown sons to stay close and stay crooked, and she runs them like a household that happens to rob banks. Roger Corman follows the family through the Depression-era South, with Don Stroud as Herman, the cruelest of the boys, who still shares her bed. Bruce Dern turns up as Kevin Dirkman, and Ma keeps her sons in line in the film's grainy light.
