Blowing Wild

“Fighting wild! Loving wild!”

Jeff Dawson (Gary Cooper) is a wildcatter drilling for oil in Mexico, trying to bring in a gusher while bandits keep raiding the camp. He turns for help to Ward Conway (Anthony Quinn), his old employer, who is married now to Marina (Barbara Stanwyck), the woman Jeff once loved. Hugo Fregonese sets the oilfield on the edge of the drilling, where the derrick stands over the dust and the men wait for it to blow.
