Dana (Sasha Jackson) is a surfer from Malibu who still can't shake the memory of her mother, who died before she could ride Jefferys Bay. She flies to South Africa to do it for her. Mike Elliott puts her in the water alongside Tara (Sharni Vinson) and Pushy (Elizabeth Mathis), and the film leans on how quickly strangers become people who will share a board, a bed, a plan.
