Blue Is the Warmest Color

“To love.”

Adèle (Adèle Exarchopoulos) is a French teenager in high school when a young woman with blue hair passes her on the street, and she can't stop thinking about her. That woman is Emma (Léa Seydoux), an aspiring painter, and knowing her draws Adèle toward desire and toward the adult she is becoming. Abdellatif Kechiche stays close on Adèle's face and follows her from her school years into a career as a teacher.
