JC (Sean Pertwee) is the local hero of the Cornish surfing scene, a man who has stretched his adolescence well past the point most people let go of it. Thirty is close now, and his girlfriend Chloe (Catherine Zeta-Jones) wants a commitment while his friends, Dean (Ewan McGregor) among them, start thinking about growing up too. Carl Prechezer follows JC as the wave that has carried him for years begins heading for the rocks.
