Blue Steel

“He turned man-hunter to run down a gang of thieving scoundrels!”

Sheriff Jake Withers (George 'Gabby' Hayes) spots a man at the safe, finds the payroll gone, and rides after him. Just as Jake moves to make the arrest, the man saves his life, and the sheriff, still suspicious, teams up with John Carruthers (John Wayne) anyway. Robert N. Bradbury keeps the two of them side by side as they take on Malgrove's gang, and the distrust between them wears down on the trail.
