Blueback

“He's their best kept secret.”

On the coast of Western Australia, Abby (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the bay where she grew up diving beside her mother Dora (Radha Mitchell). As a girl, Abby (Ariel Donoghue) befriended a wild blue groper there, and Robert Connolly, adapting Tim Winton's novel, follows how that friendship set the course of her life. Mad Macka (Eric Bana) is part of that story, and the sea stays quiet and blue under it.
