Bluebeard

“He had a WAY with the world's most beautiful, most seductive, most glamorous women ...he did AWAY with them.”

In a castle in Austria, Baron von Sepper (Richard Burton) is known for two things, a beard with a blue sheen and a long run of beautiful wives. His newest bride, Anne (Joey Heatherton), is an American who finds a vault in the castle where several women lie frozen. Edward Dmytryk keeps the two of them across a dinner table from each other, a husband who smiles and a wife who now knows what his rooms hold.
