Body Double

“You can't believe everything you see.”

An actor named Jake Scully (Craig Wasson) loses a part and his girlfriend in the same week, then takes a house-sitting job in the Hollywood Hills. Through the telescope in the living room, he watches a woman dance in her window each night until the evening he sees her murdered. Brian De Palma sends Jake into the adult film business with Holly Body (Melanie Griffith) as his guide, and the longer he looks for answers, the closer the danger comes to him.
