“To save a nations future, they must protect one man from its past.”

In Hong Kong in 1905, Li Yutang (Wang Xueqi) wants one thing, to get Sun Yat-sen into a room with his fellow revolutionaries before the Qing government's killers find him. He gathers ordinary citizens from every walk of life as bodyguards, among them Shum Chung Yang (Donnie Yen). Teddy Chan fills the streets with that mismatched crowd, standing shoulder to shoulder between the assassins and one man.
