Bog of Beasts

Heitor (Fernando Teixeira) falls for Dora (Hermila Guedes), a teenage girl whose grandfather takes her to a gas station and shows her naked to anyone willing to pay. Cláudio Assis built the film around the people in that sphere, among them Cícero (Caio Blat), Everardo (Matheus Nachtergaele) and Bela (Dira Paes). It premiered at the 39th Brasília Film Festival and won six awards. Heitor's feeling for Dora is real, and so is the price that comes with caring for her.
