Jenai (Maika Monroe) and Riley (Matt O'Leary), a young American couple on a getaway in Iceland, wake up one morning to find that every other person on Earth has vanished. Directors Andrew Sullivan and Geoffrey Orthwein keep the film close to the two of them as they work out how to eat, sleep and go on living in a world with no one left in it. Riley and Jenai are alone together, and the island lies empty around them.
