Bolero

“The dance of life!”

Four families in four countries, French, German, Russian and American, share nothing but music, and the question is how their stories ever touch. Claude Lelouch follows them from the 1930s to the 1960s, from Simon Meyer (Robert Hossein) and Anne Meyer (Nicole Garcia) to Karl Kremer (Daniel Olbrychski), with the war pulling every household toward the others. Where Anne and Simon cross paths with Karl and the rest, each meeting changes what they carry.
