Bombay Rose

(2019)Directed by Gitanjali Rao93 min · PG-13Animation, Drama, Romance

On the crowded streets of Bombay, Kamala (Cyli Khare) sells flowers and Salim (Amit Deondi) is a young man she comes to love. Their different religions and the duties each carries press on that love from the start. Gitanjali Rao painted every frame by hand, and what she shows is a city where a person's faith and obligations can stand between two people who want each other.
