Bombay Velvet

In 1960s Bombay, a street fighter named Johnny Balraj (Ranbir Kapoor) wants to rise into the city's glittering new nightlife, a world that runs on jazz and violence. Anurag Kashyap follows him into the clubs, where Johnny works for the publisher Kaizad Khambatta (Karan Johar) while Inspector Kulkarni (Kay Kay Menon) circles. Then there is Rosie (Anushka Sharma), a jazz singer whose hold on him becomes the only thing he can't fight his way past.
