“When everything in life goes to pot.”

David (Luke Wilson) is a Portland artist who sells marijuana on the side, and all he really wants is to hold onto Serena (Alicia Witt), the tempestuous woman he met through a client. Then his house burns down, and she leaves for New York with Tommy, a rocker and junkie. Richard Sears follows David as he drifts through his odd circle of friends, with Jennifer, Mary and Devlin, and everything he had hangs on whether he can stop missing the two things he lost.
