Boogie
“Based on the work of the great Fontanarrosa.”
Boogie is a 2009 Argentine animated film about a hired killer working the criminal underworld, a character taken from the comic strips of Roberto Fontanarrosa. Looking for money, Boogie (Pablo Echarri) kidnaps a witness whom a mafia boss wants dead, with Marcia (Nancy Dupláa) caught in the middle. Gustavo Cova directed it as the first 3D animated feature made in Argentina, and the price on that witness decides how long anyone stays alive.
