“A player who's about to be played.”

Marcus Graham (Eddie Murphy) is an advertising executive who wants every woman he meets and usually gets her. Then a merger puts Jacqueline Broyer (Robin Givens) above him, a boss who treats him the way he has always treated everyone else. Reginald Hudlin follows Marcus through the weeks that come after, his work slipping while his friends Gerard (David Alan Grier) and Tyler (Martin Lawrence) look on.
