Born for Hell

“Nine young women. One night. Defiled. Tortured. Torn apart.”

Cain Adamson (Mathieu Carrière) is an American veteran of the Vietnam War, and he comes to Belfast carrying what the war left in him. Denis Héroux sets his story in a city of checkpoints, then brings Cain to a house where eight young nursing students from different countries live, among them Bridget (Debra Berger). The film, loosely drawn from the Richard Speck murders, treats violence abroad as a thing that does not stay there.
