“It's Here AT LAST!”

Why would a man who owns a junkyard fortune bring his showgirl mistress to Washington, where he plans to buy a congressman or two? Harry Brock (Broderick Crawford) is loud and rich and used to getting what he pays for, and Billie Dawn (Judy Holliday) goes wherever he goes. George Cukor keeps the story in the hotel suite, where Billie stays by the window while Harry talks business, and Paul Verrall (William Holden) walks in.
