“Fight your way out.”

Why would a botanist studying an invasive plant stop for a downed plane in the desert? Elly (Lucy Hale) does, and the man she finds there is a drug mule, Tomas (Leynar Gomez), who takes her captive and forces her to lead him on foot across the heat to his drop. Jesse Harris cuts between her trek and the hunt behind it, with Deputy Jose Gomez (Nicholas Gonzalez) drawn in and a local receiver tracking them all, so every mile on foot costs someone their safety.
