Borrowed Bride

Ali (Onur Ünsal) is eighteen and treats marriage as a game, happier with his puppets and a rooster costume for the travelling theatre than with the bride his parents have arranged. Both families expect business ventures to follow the match, so his parents hire Kostak Emine (Nurgül Yeşilçay) to stand in as a borrowed bride. Atıf Yılmaz sets the plan in motion, and everyone's money and standing now depends on a boy who will not grow up.
