Bound for Glory

In the 1930s, the dust is burying the Texas Panhandle, and Woody Guthrie (David Carradine) leaves home to look for work. His road leads him to the migrant camps of California, where he meets Ozark Bule (Ronny Cox) and the desperate Okie families Hal Ashby films in grainy, sun-bleached light. Woody carries a guitar and an itch to move, and he can't stop wanting to give these people a voice.
