Box Office 3D: The Filmest of Films

“At my signal, unleash Hell... or at least make a racket!”

Frank Strong (Ezio Greggio) drops into the biggest American blockbusters one after another, with Gladiator, Harry Potter, Fast and Furious and The Da Vinci Code all getting the same treatment. Greggio, who also wrote and produced this 2011 Italian parody, keeps the jokes broad and the delivery flat. Underneath the gags, it is a film about how much Hollywood spectacle can be borrowed, mimicked and laughed at once the spectacle is shared.
