Boxing Day

“It's not going to be a quiet one.”

It is Christmas in London, and Melvin Mckenzie (Aml Ameen), a British author who now lives in America, has come home with his American fiancée Lisa Dixon (Aja Naomi King). She is about to meet his loud British-Caribbean family, including his mother Shirley (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), in a world he left behind. Aml Ameen, who also wrote it, makes his directing debut, and Melvin has to decide what he owes the place he came from.
