Boxing Helena

“Beyond love, beyond obsession, there hides something beyond reason.”

In an American house that belongs to one man's long fixation, a celebrated surgeon keeps returning to the thought of a woman who once turned him down. Dr. Nick Cavanaugh (Julian Sands) cannot picture his life without Helena (Sherilyn Fenn), and he sets out to persuade her that they need each other. Jennifer Lynch follows Nick as his devotion hardens into control, with Helena unwilling and a bad accident leaving her in his hands.
