Boyfriends and Girlfriends

“The friends of my friends are my friends too”

Blanche (Emmanuelle Chaulet) cannot say a word around Alexandre (François-Eric Gendron), the quick, charming friend of her new friend Léa (Sophie Renoir). Éric Rohmer sets the story in the new suburbs outside Paris, where Léa is already thinking of leaving Fabien (Éric Viellard). When Léa goes away on holiday, Blanche is left alone with her feelings and Fabien, and each of them is close to someone else's partner.
