“How does it feel to win a race when you know you lost a love?”

Sieger (Gijs Blom) is a teenage runner in the Netherlands who joins a relay team and gets paired with Marc (Ko Zandvliet), a teammate he barely knows. Mischa Kamp follows the two of them through the training that fills their days, the track, the races, the long hours with the rest of the boys. By the time the big relay comes, what they share has little to do with the race and a good deal to do with each other.
