Boys Don't Cry

“A true story about finding the courage to be yourself.”

Nobody in Falls City, Nebraska knows who Brandon Teena (Hilary Swank) was before he got there, and he intends to keep it that way. He falls in with John Lotter (Peter Sarsgaard) and Tom Nissen (Brendan Sexton III), and he falls for Lana Tisdel (Chloë Sevigny). Kimberly Peirce follows him through a life he has only just started to live as himself, one he wants badly enough to risk everything for.
