Brad's Status

“There’s more to happiness than wealth.”

Brad Sloan (Ben Stiller) runs a small nonprofit in suburban Sacramento, with a kind wife and a comfortable house, and he lies awake measuring all of it against the four college friends who ended up richer and more famous. He flies east with his son Troy (Austin Abrams), a gifted musician, to tour universities. Mike White follows Brad through the visits, and the plane seat and the dorm hallway keep him close to his own thoughts.
