“Wanna play? I dare you.”

A murder has happened, and Michael (Edward Furlong), a lonely teenager who lives on horror movies and video games, is the only one who remembers doing it. Hours earlier he played a new game that put him inside a killer's head, and now Detective Hayden (Frank Langella) is asking questions. John Flynn follows Michael through his own house as the line between the game and the crime gets harder to find, and the person who sold him the disc keeps showing up.
