Branded to Kill

Gorô Hanada (Joe Shishido) is the third-ranked contract killer in Japan, and he wants to be the first. A mysterious woman, Misako (Annu Mari), recruits him for a mission that looks impossible, and when it goes wrong he becomes the target of the phantom No. 1 (Kōji Nanbara). Seijun Suzuki follows Hanada as he is hunted by a rival whose methods threaten his sanity as much as his life.
