Braveheart

“Every man dies, not every man really lives.”

A Scottish warrior named William Wallace (Mel Gibson) emerges from obscurity after the English kill the woman he loves, Murron (Catherine McCormack). He rallies his countrymen to fight King Edward (Patrick McGoohan) and his occupying army, drawing even Robert the Bruce (Angus Macfadyen) into the struggle. What binds Wallace to Bruce, and what each man will sacrifice for Scotland, becomes the measure of whether freedom can survive the cost of winning it.
