Braveheart

“Every man dies, not every man really lives.”

A bride is killed in a Scottish village, and the soldiers who did it are dead by morning, though nobody yet understands that one man's grief has started a rebellion. William Wallace (Mel Gibson), who directs, takes on the English lord and then King Edward (Patrick McGoohan). Beneath the war runs his bond with Murron (Catherine McCormack), the childhood love he carries into every fight.
