Bread and Tulips

“Imagine your life. Now go live it.”

Rosalba Barletta (Licia Maglietta) is left behind at a roadside stop when her tour bus pulls away without her, and she decides not to chase it. She ends up in Venice on her own, where the people she meets include Fernando (Bruno Ganz), and finds she can do without the family that forgot her. Silvio Soldini puts her in a city that has only just become hers, with the whole of it still to learn.
