Bread of Happiness

Rie (Tomoyo Harada) wants a quieter life than Tokyo gave her, so she and her husband Mizushima (Yo Oizumi) move to Hokkaido to open a bakery and café called Mani. Yukiko Mishima follows the two of them through the seasons as the neighbors who stop in come to know them. It is a film about how feeding someone, over and over, can turn strangers into a community.
