“Based on the true story of one man's demand to be heard.”

Brian Brown-Easley (John Boyega), a Marine veteran, needs money he does not have and has run out of people to ask. He walks into a bank and takes several employees hostage, and police surround the building while a negotiator, Eli Bernard (Michael Kenneth Williams), works the phones. Abi Damaris Corbin builds the film from a true story, and Brian keeps speaking calmly to everyone in the room, a man who wants to be heard before anything else.
