Breaking and Entering

Will Francis (Jude Law), a landscape architect, sets up his firm's new offices in a rundown London neighbourhood, and thieves keep breaking in at night. He goes looking for the young burglar and finds his mother, Amira (Juliette Binoche), a Bosnian seamstress raising a troubled son alone. Anthony Minghella, in his last feature, writes and directs this original story with a patient, unhurried eye.
